We have had the Magic Jack for over 6 months now. For the most part we like it. I bought ours on ebay for $36 that included 12 months free service to call anywhere in the US. They offer 5 years for $59.99. Our digital phone was running us $39.99 a month so we saved over $400 a year.It is not perfect but is worth the price especially if you are considering just going with cell phones. It cuts off when ever your internet cuts off. So as long as you have a good internet connection you should be fine. It has caller ID but only on the computer it is hooked up too. Also it only allows you pick certain cities phone numbers. Winston Salem was not available so we had to take a Greensboro phonre number which is not a problem for us but maybe for someone who calls us and Greensboro is long distance for them. For us it works out to be a great deal!
