The first step is learning the lingo!

These are some terms that you will need to familiarize yourself with in order to keep up and be successful!

• BOGO = Buy one get one free
  
• FAR = Free After Rebate
  
• WYB = When you buy
  
• FLIP = Food Lion Internet Printable
  
• MQ = Manufacturer Coupon
  
• MIR = Mail In Rebate
  
• OOP = Out Of Pocket
  
• RP = Red Plum coupon insert from Sunday newspaper
• RR = Register Rewards (Walgreens)
  
• SS = Smart Source coupon insert from Sunday newspaper
• V = Valassis (same as red plum) coupon insert
• P&G = Proctor and Gamble coupon insert found in your Sunday Paper
  
• YMMV = your mileage might vary or Your manager May Vary
  
• GC = Gift Card
• CRT = Cash Register Tape
• ECB = Extra Care Bucks (CVS)
