on my quest for more cheap cat food i know call me crazy
i found a sweet kelloggs deal

the kiosk is printing kelloggs coupons and kelloggs is on sale most of them are 2 for 5
now if you have some kelloggs coupons from the inserts that would make it better but i was NOT prepared
i only had catfood on the brain


2.50 off 5 kelloggs products
and several 1.00 off coupons like 1.00 off 2  eggos
1.00 off  2 special k cereals
1.00 off 2 pop tarts
1.00 off 2 special k granola bars
1.00 special k crackers



so i ended up getting 5 items for 7.00

thrift store find ............ large prints by Frances Tipton Hunter and her 1936 covers for the Saturday evening post......... snagged both for under 10 bux!

axe deodorant deal at cvs

cvs has a lot of their deo on mark down , more mens than women axe is marked down to 1.22 at my cvs 
and it works on this weeks axe deal. 
buy three get 4.00 extra bucks 
there was also a 1.00 coupon in a red plum insert a few weeks back
(i didnt get any that week... =( ) 
but if you have the coupon you end up paying 
.66 cents and you get back 4 bux

its a decent money making deal at cvs 
it probably ends tomorrow

I made this decoration for my front door.. it only cost me 5 dollars 

I had the eggs left over from Easter

I bought a straw wreath at Michaels for 2.99

 and I bought that weird shiny gift filler that I used as Easter grass at the dollar tree for 1.00

and I also picked up those tiny eggs you see in the photo 

2 pks at 1.00 each

then i hot glued like a mad woman 

lol

it was too fat for my door when i got done so i popped some ribbon on  it and hung it from a planters hook in my living room

i know its jan but I love Easter colors 

so it will stay

we converted out hallway closet into a "pantry.... and it cost us 130 and yes we used a coupon lol

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO disappointed in my spending however I have really racked up some goodies for my new pantry! as soon as I am dont I will post a picture for you =)

first of all I am uber disappointed in my spending, as I am in a quest to stockpile I also end up spending TOO much money
I went to food lion where there were NO ketchup
mustard or BBQ sauce so I stocked up on catfood , salt canned biscuits, powdered sugar , brown sugar and a few other items

excited about food lions brand sale

I havent been yet because we only have one car and the stomach bug is going around here so its as if i have been grounded for a few days but food lion never disappoints me when it comes to their brands sale
the deal is
buy for or more food lion products and get back 25 cents for each item.
up to 40 items (10 bux)

now I know that sounds like a small amount but I maximize it by buying food lion canned cat food which is always about 40 cents a can which makes it 15 cents a can after my savings!!

also this week they have their sodas on sale at 89 cents (I love their rootbeer )
their ketchup mustard and bbq sauce is also pretty cheap at 88 cents
I also plan to buy hamburger buns at 1.50 and jelly at 1.50

everything but the buns will keep in my stock pile

I have decided to do my weekly totals on sunday nights but I just counted the change jar and wanted to share my totals with you 


I am hoping to use the change jar money for something fun in the future..... I just dont know what that will be yet. =)

popped into cvs this monring
luckily the cashier is my pal and she is very nice otherwise I am sure that I would get an eyeroll for shopping there so much
ALL hail the coupon queen lol

I just bought some dawn and some soft soap to put in my ever dwindling stock pile
oh and I did snag some super cheap colgate toothpast... the max freah is my favey!

I used a few 50 cents off and a few 25 cents off of the dawn (1/1/2012 p&g) and a few of the 40 cents off soft soap in that same paper
a colgate coupon from the cvs mag and a colgate q from last weeks ss

used 5.50 in qs and paid 8.02
got back a buck...
I see it as a win

and.................... a home project that HAD to be done has already pout me off track, lol
we are extending the sub floor in the attic so we will have more storage space!
We definitely need it, we are also hoping to work on our home business more this year so everything in my "garage / den"  MUST GO!
